I have not been diagnosed with panic disorder by a medical professional, but I experience panic attacks and heightened anxiety. Please speak with your research assistant, Katy Tadler ([email protected]) to determine your qualifications.

I do not experience panic attacks. Thank you for your interest in the study but you are not currently a candidate. In the future, we hope to explain the Ziva application. If you would like to stay updated please click the button at the bottom of the page and enter your email address.

Ziva™ is the first-of-its-kind developmental revolutionary mobile application for the treatment of panic disorder. Ziva™ collects your body’s physiological data, such as your heartbeat, to be able to predict when you will experience a panic attack 8 – 15 minutes before it begins. Using relaxation training taught by Dr. Inz and the alert from Ziva™, you will be able to successfully abort your panic attack before it begins. With just a smartphone and a wearable watch, you will have access to treatment 24/7 at any geographical location.

Arousal in panic disorder refers to the body’s response when awareness is heightened. Arousal is an evolutionary adaptive process that occurs when the body senses danger.

Yes, you can still be apart of the study if you are currently taking medication or are in psychotherapy.

Yes, this exploratory study is completely voluntary. If you would like to drop out of the study please contact Katy Tadler ([email protected]).

The study will take about 12 weeks to complete.

You will receive access to relaxation training taught by Dr. Inz, as well as, learn about your body’s specific arousal patterns.

A slight increase in anxiety is normal and should decrease over time. However, if anxiety becomes too intense or debilitating please reach out to Dr. Jonathan Inz ([email protected]).

Anxiety might heighten in the beginning, which is normal, but should subside quickly. If not, and you are concerned, please contact Dr. Inz at [email protected]

In order to ensure safety, our team has submitted all documents through the Institution Review Board (IRB). Please follow this link to learn more about the approval of our study: https://www.wcgclinical.com/
